Where did this Bagyanfest idea come from?
The idea of the Bagyanfest came out of our need for discovering and putting alternative forms of communication and relationships into practice.
Within 3 days, we want to develop together alternative approaches to relationships that we form by putting our time, money and bodies , and apply them. During the festival, an we will be offering activities that we usually cannot find the time for or never ever thought about even trying to do due to our prejudices. This might be an opportunity to discover them for ourselves.
For whom is this Bagyanfest?
For all bisexual, heterosexual, lesbian, transsexual women and transsexual men who, for 3 days, want to work, share experiences and ideas, and have fun together. The only requirement is that every participant acts upon the festival guidelines.
Who is organizing the Bagyanfest?
Bagyanfest is organized by volunteers who want to create an enjoyable and creative festival.
Every bisexual, heterosexual, lesbian, transsexual woman and transsexual man can be part of the initiative. For becoming part of the initiative or just share your ideas you can contact Isabel.hager{at}gmail{dot}com.
In what way is the festival feminist?
The method and principles that we work with are feminist ones.
We question all sort of social power mechanisms - such as sexism, patriarchy, militarism, capitalism, heterosexism, racism, nationalism and the hegemony of humans over nature - and embrace a critical political stand.
We agree on working without putting any pressure on each other, securing the same rights for decision making to everyone, disallowing any form of hierarchy and discrimination. All procedures are strictly non-violent. We embrace cooperation and active participation as main principles.

Good news everyone!
Finally, the summer break is over and LaDIYfest orga-team meetings take place again! We will meet every Wednesday at 8 pm, at FAQ-Laden in Berlin-Neukölln.
The plans for now are to have a one-day Winterfest with workshops, movies and DJanes in January 2010 and we need new activists to take part in the organization!

Endlich ist die Sommerpause vorbei und es gibt wieder LaDIYfest-Treffen. Und zwar jeden Mittwoch um 20h im FAQ-Laden in Neukölln.
Der Plan ist ein eintägiges Winterfest mit Workshops, Fimen und DJanes im Januar 2010 zu veranstalten und wir brauchen neue Aktivist_innen, die mitorganisieren wollen!
